The Home of Mira Mesa Youth Basketball league. San Diego Neighborhood Basketball Program is made up of multiple sport athletes and because we have multiple sport athletes that makes our league the best youth basketball league in San Diego, Ca. The league is played twice a year summer and winter season. Next league start Saturday January 3rd, 2026. We are located and play at Mira Mesa Recreation center 8575 New Salem Street San Diego, Ca. 92126. Established in 2003, we are a full service youth sports program our expertise is in player development. Our league is a patron for the City of San Diego Parks and Recreation. N.B.P. youth basketball league that organize young individual players into teams on assessment day. After assessment day teams are formed and begin to practice the a coach. Neighborhood Basketball is a place where individual young kids can play in a safe environment in which they can develop their skills, build there confident, learn to play with others, practice sportsmanship, and have fun. Therefore N.B.P. Youth recreation basketball program provides an opportunity for community leaders and parents to volunteer as coaches and to positively influence the expertise in player development and growth of young athletes. We offer a great Basketball Fundamentals Class for new players. We have a club team called the Wolves Basketball for players that love basketballs.
